I'm a portrait photographer who believes great photographs come from real connection, not perfect poses.
Whether I'm photographing a high school senior, a growing family, or an important season of life, my goal is simple: create images that feel genuine and reflect who you are right now. I want my clients to feel comfortable, relaxed, and free to be themselves in front of the camera.
My style is focused on the people in the photograph rather than distractions or the latest trends. Years from now, I want you to look back at your images and remember exactly how this season of life felt.
Photography gives us the opportunity to hold on to moments that change far too quickly. It's a privilege to create photographs that become part of a family's history, and I approach every session with that responsibility in mind.
In additon to photography, I am also a mother to three teenage sons, a wife to a handsome tall drummer, and a paramedic.
Details have a way of grounding a photograph in a specific moment in time. While I'm watching for connection and expression, I'm also paying attention to the smaller things—the textures, gestures, and personal touches that make a photograph uniquely yours.
Location should support the image rather than define it. I'm drawn to places with good light, a sense of simplicity, and space for moments to unfold naturally. Whether we're in a wide-open field, an urban setting, or somewhere that holds personal meaning, the people in the photograph will always be the focus.
Photography is a balance between intention and observation. I'll guide you into good light and natural movement. Then I will step back and watch for what happens next. The magic is often found in the moments between directions. Those are the moments I'm always looking for.
